Vegan Mint Chocolate Smoothie
If you’re a fan of mint choc ice cream, then this refreshingly vibrant but nutrient dense smoothie is right up your street. Ice cold banana paired with minty freshness and a slight hint of deep chocolate tones from the cacao, all whipped together with a creamy, high protein soya milk and last but not least, tangy lime to enhance iron absorption. Unreal.

Serves: 1 | Total Cooking Time: 5 minutes
Ingredients
1 tbsp cacao powder
1 (100g) frozen banana
125ml unsweetened soya milk (or oat for a nut-free option)
1 handful fresh mint leaves
Juice of 1/4 lime
1 level tsp Chlorella powder
15-20g vegan vanilla protein powder (linked is the one I use Code ‘VEGAMBS’ will also get you 10% off sitewide)
1x 3-5g scoop of creatine (optional)
To make these into overnight oats, simply add in 50g jumbo oats at the end of blending :)
Instructions
Throw everything into a blender and blend until smooth and thick! However, if you want your smoothie to look a super lovely green colour, then leave out the cacao powder and what I like to do it is mix the cacao powder in a small cup with a splash of water (it can take a minute or so to mix, but I promise it will) and eventually it turns into a lovely chocolatey sauce. Drizzle this on the inside of your cup before pouring in your smoothie, so you still get those chocolatey undertones.
Enjoy! Lots & lots of love.
