Vegan Chocolate Mocha Smoothie Bowl
Chocolate & coffee whipped up into a perfectly sweet, creamy and rich smoothie bowl. Ready in under 5 minutes for a refreshing breakfast or energy-boosting afternoon pick me up! This mocha smoothie is so easy to make, i’m almost certain it will replace your daily caffeine fix. All you need is a blender and 7 ingredients. The coffee and chocolate duo is a match made in heaven, even for someone who doesn’t drink coffee! Imagine a Starbucks latte mashed with a cold chocolate milkshake.

Ingredients:
1 banana
1 Medjool date, chopped
1 heaped tbsp (10g) raw cacao powder
1 tbsp coffee granules, dissolved in a tiny bit of hot water
2 tbsp unsweetened almond milk
1 tsp vanilla extract or 1 tbsp vegan vanilla protein powder (linked is the one I use. Code ‘VEGAMBS’ will also get you 10% off sitewide)
handful of crushed ice cubes
Instructions:
Place all ingredients into a high speed blender and blend until smooth.
This is perfect when paired with fresh fruit and something a crunchy like my chocolate hazelnut granola.
