Chocolate Orange Smoothie.

Terry’s Chocolate Orange meets wholesome smoothie; one drinkable, one as overnight oats. This Vegan Chocolate Orange Smoothie is a refreshing, and seemingly too good to be healthy, blend of soft banana, dates, rich cacao powder, fresh orange, and plant-based milk.

Serves: 1 | Total Cooking Time: 5 minutes

Ingredients

  • 1 frozen banana

  • 1 medjool date

  • 1 tbsp cacao powder

  • 1 large orange

  • 1-2 tsp cacao nibs

  • 150ml - 250ml unsweetened plant-milk

*little tip - if you want a more filling breakfast/snack, then add some oats to the smoothie after blending and leave in the fridge overnight, and you will have yourself some choc orange overnight oats!

Instructions

  1. Start by adding everything, apart from the cacao nibs, into a small blender.

  2. Blitz until lovely and smooth. Then add in your cacao nibs and blitz again for a few seconds, just to break them up a little.

  3. Serve the smoothie up into a glass and enjoy straight away, or if making overnight oats then serve up the smoothie in a jar/bowl and pour in your oats. Mix together until all the oats are coated in your smoothie mixture, then leave in the fridge to set overnight.

  4. Enjoy your overnight oats straight out the fridge in the morning, and top with anything you like, or just eat as it is (its beautiful regardless).

Enjoy! Lots & lots of love.
